Study centre at the Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at the University of Regensburg

The Regensburg Study Centre, headed by Dr Beate Fischer, is located at the Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Regensburg University Hospital.

Our team consists of trained examiners who all have training in a medical assistant profession (e.g. nurses, medical assistants).

You will be accompanied by the participant management team, which will take care of all matters relating to your examination appointment.

The study centre has examination rooms with state-of-the-art medical equipment, various rooms for conducting interviews and a friendly waiting area with touchscreen computer workstations. In addition to the COPLANT study, the NAKO health study also takes place at the study centre. The NAKO is a large long-term population study with the aim of investigating the causes of typical common diseases such as diabetes, cancer and dementia.
